In a Twitter post, Stefanson stated she has been experiencing minor symptoms and is working from home during this time.
Over the last few days, the premier says, her office has informed those it has come into contact with her.
Recent appearances by Stefanson included unveiling a legislature mural attended by dozens of people.
Twitter users wished Stefanson a speedy recovery, including opposition leader Wab Kinew, who tested positive in November.
