Men in Kilts, Live at the Glesby!

About this Event

Friday, October 14, 2022 – Men in Kilts, Live at the Glesby!

Doors open at 7:00pm show starts at 7:30pm

Prairie Fusion Arts & Entertainment is excited to announce its first in-person concert of the year, marking the loosening of COVID-19 pandemic protocols and restrictions. Men In Kilts, a grass roots Manitoba group, will be headlining the Glesby stage for a St Patrick’s Day show sure to not only lift spirits, but get audience members out of their seats for some jiggin!

Since 1999, this Winnipeg-based band has been fusing the traditional sounds of the fiddle and the highland bagpipes with the electric guitar, bass, and drums to create a sound that is uniquely their own. Although it might seem unconventional to play traditional Scottish, French and Irish songs at a punk rock tempo, the sweat, smiles, and screams of the Men In Kilts audiences leave no doubt that the blended style works like a lucky charm.
